About Dejima Studios

Dejima Studios is a new independent games studio, creating compelling strategy and management games with a focus on intelligent and innovative game experiences. Dejima Studios was founded in the United Kingdom in 2023. The first studio release will be Hyper Blade 2050, planned for release in 2024.

"Dejima Studios is the gateway to another world"

Dejima was a small artificial island off the coast of Nagasaki, Japan. The island was constructed by the Tokugawa Shogunate, and during the 17th and 18th centuries Dejima was the only Japanese territory open to Westerners, at that time it was truly the gateway to another world.

Founder

Dejima Studios was founded by Graham Koppenhol.

​

The Dejima logo is an artists impression of the Dejima island bridge. It is intended to symbolise the "gateway to another world" that inspired the name of the studio.
